I do agree that sometimes movies into shows don't always work so well, but I can't resist giving Agents of Shield a try.  I totally giving the benefit of the doubt after watching the Avengers - best movie I ever saw!

I agree with the "not sure yet".  It didn't really wow me, but will watch again next week to see how it goes.  I love to watch the seasons when they get to netflix, so I can watch all the episodes at once.

well I am going to have to watch it a few more times. Have to record it though ... it's on at the same time as NCIS and they both are on when I'll be in class so that's a bit of a bummer.  lol. Not sure how I feel about either show right now

I watched it, I liked it.  I am sure it will get more and more interesting as the season goes along

I wasn't able to watch it last night (and I just switched to cable, so I wasn't able to set up the DVR for it either), so hopefully I'll be able to watch it on-demand either on my TV or from the ABC web-site... I'm hopeful for it, esp. since Joss Whedon is involved. I really enjoy his writing; he is usually more in depth in making his characters, which I think will be very important for a series about superheroes that tend to flatten those characters in that their powers take over how the character acts and is described rather than their backstory and non-power related motivations. Not sure, but this may be why people are expressing mixed reactions to the show... Deepening the plot and characters tend to require more naration / dialog and less action. People watching a TV show about superheroes, however, may be expecting more action and less verbosity. I may have a better opinion once I've actually watched it.

I know several members of my trivia team were scrambling for who was going to take notes on this show.  I have it on DVR, but haven't watched it yet.  Was definitely interested in seeing if I could get into the show as it seems right up my alley.

IDK if I'm interested in watching it. I've seen the commercials for it ,but it just doesn't seem all that appealing.

I didn't love it, but it was good enough for me to keep watching.  Hope that i'll enjoy it more as it goes along.
