facebook friends that you don't even know? I have a gal on my page who seems to be having a bad time with her husband and other relatives. Meaning the guy has cheated on her she has even been suicidal. she left him and took the kids I think she is doing better. I find myself looking for her posts which can be much more interesting then other ones.I don't know how she is on my page I guess a friend of a friend but I don't know who the friend is. Well I have talked to her a little don't want to get involved,don't even know who she is. Guess i'll just skip through her posts but kind of want to see how she gets on.

I normally just have people that i know on my page.  I tend to ignore requests from people i dont know.

That's one of the reasons I don't do face book. How can you say someone is a friend if you've never met them and they are a friend of a friend .... ? It doesn't make sense to me. Oh well ignore me I'm too old school in some respects.

its a good plan to clean out your facebook friends list from time to time and get rid of the ones you aren't friends with or have never met in person

that is sad to heard that. Better for her to leave that jerk in the carbbage and sue

I have people on my fb page that I don't personally know, but I will delete them and even my family members in a heartbeat if they start posting stuff I don't want to see.  FB will be a valuable tool for me to meet new people when I relocate to texas in 7 months so I don't mind people I don't know sending me friend requests.

I always take suicide threats seriously, you should reach out to her personally.

I have an account but don't go on facebook often.. Too much drama for me.

Have you ever asked her how she knows you or asked your mutual friends who she is?  Maybe you met her, but she didn't make much of an impression on you even though you made a big impression on her.

I don't accept friend requests from strangers.  I do have a few industry professionals that I haven't actually met, yet, but hope to work with.  FB is a good place to network.

If she's touched something in you try to get to know her better.

No, I only have people I know as my friends, and its hard enough to keep up with them, never mind people I don't know (such as friends of friends)!

I have 7 people on my facebook that I know in person. The rest of them are internet friends that I've been talking to for years before facebook so I know them in that capacity.

I have facebook friends from church so I know them. I have friends who are relatives that I don't see very often. It's been wonderful to reconnect with them. A small portion of friends I don't know personally, but we have shared interests. I did delete my ex sil. She's a dramatic moron and that I can't stand.

I have some friends that i never knew. Then i made a friend list, i put them on a group that they could not see my post, just like public see my Fb.
