I HATE Captchas

I did the FT Survey Roundtable the other day and had no problem with the Captcha. I tried doing it again today and tried....and tried...and tried, at least 10 times to enter the captcha. I was never right so I tried the voice captcha. That made even less sense and I couldn't understand it at all. So, today I was not only sight impaired but also hearing impaired. 

I sure wish any site that uses Captchas would just put 2 words in that aren't so tightly scrambled. I can usually get them within one or two tries.  Maybe tomorrow will be better.

I can identify with you.  I don't know what happens, but every now and then, the codes are so crazy, it's pure guesswork.  It puts me into "I'll show them" mode and I get determined to find one that works, no matter how long it takes.  I wish you could keep doing the same one over and over.  You could finally get it through the process of elimination, but once you've guessed wrong, you get a brand new captcha, and have to start from square one.  Thank goodness those hard ones aren't the norm.

I hate them also. I never get them on the first try, even when I think I have copied it perfectly. Drives me crazy.

I agree it is a shame that we have to pay for scammers and robots.  I think the spaces are what throw us off.  I got to the point where I add a space at the beginning all the time.  God Bless
