kick while asleep
« on: November 26, 2013, 06:11:09 pm »
???Have you ever kicked while sleeping? I have done this before a few times. I remember doing it; kicking my leg in my sleep without dreaming of playing soccer or fighting. I wonder what makes me do that. Does anybody have this issue?

Yeah it's fairly normal to fidget occasionally during sleep. I once awoke and jumped up out of bed because I thought I was being attacked by someone!

My boyfriend has this issue and I can rarely go to sleep at same time because he is constantly kicking and it keeps me from falling asleep. I think he has wrestless leg syndrome really. Maybe you should have it checked out?

I have no idea if I still do it now but I know I did when I was little. When we would visit relatives and I had to share a bed I would kick the other person. Sometimes out of the bed.

I think I'm pretty stable in bed, but when I take very short naps on public transportation I've had on more than a few occasions have a sudden burst of movement, which I'm still not sure what causes this. Luckily I haven't hit anyone yet.

I don't really kick, but I jump out of my bed as if someone use that machine on my chest. It happens once in a while tho.

I honestly don't know if I'm kicking in my sleep, but sometimes I find myself jumping in my sleep. I don't know what causes it. Sometimes I jump so hard that I wake myself up even when I'm not dreaming.

My hubby kicked me one night on my leg because he was dreaming of something that was at him and he was trying to get it away from him.  When I said "ouch", he flipped over and went back to sleep.  I told him that he kicked me the next morning. :male: :female: :male: :turkey: :turkey: :turkey:

My baby has restless leg syndrome and it is a constant thing every night. If I didn't know better I would think that he was in training for a marathon. Sometimes it is really hard to sleep due to all the kicking , etc. When it gets really bad then I just get up and go to another bed or sleep on the couch. :peace:
