I did try it once.  I did not like it at all.  I"ll stick with pecan and pumpkin for my holiday pies.

No, I have never tried it before. I don't think I'd like it either, it just sounds kinda gross to me. Lol Meat and pie are two words that don't go together. haha

It is hubbys favorite, of course he will eat anything sweet. I will eat a small slice and he eats the rest. Of course what you buy in the store is not the real mincemeat made with meat.  But then most people who like or love pumpkin pie are not really eating pumpkin it is made with blue acorn squash (canned not fresh). Pumpkin it self is too fibrous and stringing for most people taste. Takes a while to prrl one too. Also you can make a pumpkin pie out of butternut squash also with the seanings it taste the same as the canned.

I have never tasted it and have no desire to do so.  It's made with spices which I don't like.
