Why am I not getting paid .50 cents for tasks that say .50cents per task!?

When i click on a task that says 50cents, at the top it says .50 cents per task although I only receive 1 cent per each task! Why is this? Please get back to me as soon as possible.

You're probably completing tasks that are a half cent not 50 cents

If you read the Task page, you would see this "note" there on the bottom right hand side of the page:

"NOTE

Tasks listed with a reward of "0.50 cents" are worth ½ of a cent, not 50 cents. They are credited in groups of 2 or more."

That needs to change...because this whole time I was thinking it was .50 credit and I was only getting .2 which isnt fair when I was actually expecting .50

It has been like that since I began to do tasks.  I saw it in print before I attacked that task, so I don't blame them.  You do tasks by risk.  I had stopped doing tasks before I did the Business Card Transcription, which ended this month.  It wasn't worth the effort.  But, in doing the Business Card Transcription, I am being considered for other business tasks.

Yes it is technically correct but usually confuses most people at first glance.

The tasks that say .50 cents mean a 1/2 of a penny. So in order to receive 1 cent you will need to complete to of the .50 cent offers.

Oh my, another unsuspecting victim. I actually had the same happen to me until I realized that it meant 1/2 a cent so you actually have to do 2 tasks to get the 1 cent. I try to stay away from those unless I am absolutely desperate. Good luck to you in the future.

I did the same thing when I joined. I don't really do many of the half-cent tasks anymore because they seem to be a whole lot of work for such a tiny reward.

All of the tasks list as whole cent values. If it's 5 cents then it will say "5 cents". Other videos say 0.50 cents. Which would mean 1/2 a penny. This is listed on the page to avoid confusion. You should know that you aren't going to get half a dollar for doing a 30 second google search task.
