Happy National Chocolate Cake Day

It was one of my fav's. I did share my chocolate cake. I don't eat chocolate anymore. So this day not so happy for me.

I used to be a cake decorator for a wal-mart...of all the years I'd worked there I'd never heard of national cake day.  I wish I would have known earlier...I've been on a homemade chocolate pudding kick lately.  So I bought everything to make pudding.  So reminder to self.  Next year when I'm shopping after the new years celebration... include cake ingredients for National cake day.  Sounds like a good way to splurge on some extra calories for all those that have tried loose weight as resolutions.  I love banana cake with chocolate frosting.  All time fav.  Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.

Didn't know there was such a thing!  BUT yesterday I had a craving for chocolate cake ... must have been planning ahead and didn't know it!  Chuckle ... hmmm, must have choco cake today.

I'm gona start a "diet" or new way of eating ... must get this outta the way first! chuckle!

I did not know that! I think I have chocolate cake mix in the kitchen. Chocolate cake is one of my favorites.

I make chocolate cake at least 2 times a month. My husband and boys love chocolate cake. Too bad I missed the holiday. Maybe I'll make a belated cake.

I have never ever heard of National Chocolate Cake Day...there seems to be a day for almost anything these days  Chocolate cake with a big ole glass of milk...then coffee

  wow don't have any way to make or get a chocolate cake otherwise I would be happy to participate in this day ! Yum like chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on it so sounds like a party to me.
