I hope not, but that's kinda the message Jesus gives when He defends his disciples against the Pharisees' accusation that the eateth with defiledst hands-eth! (where He replies with His 'it's not what goes into a man, but what comes out that defileth')

Yeah Jesus, but what kind of kingdom is it if everybody eats with grubby hands?

The point Jesus is obviously making is that observing ceremonies and traditions are not what keeps one from becoming defiled.Eating without preforming a hand purification ceremony is not a sin!
