Tv& Internet Discussion

You know i have always been told that tv and internet are not good for you.. Why is that? I find that statement highly unethical.. You can learn from tv just as you can learn from the internet.. When i need information the first place i go is the internet.. I have fixed my sink drain, my washer, and even my car just by gathering information on the internet.. Yes there are people out there that have to much time on their hands and hack people and harass people and misuse the internet but if you take the time to look there is actually quiet a bit of information on the internet.. The possibilities are endless with the internet if it is used correctly and not misused. Same with tv.. I have learned some techniques from real life situations {weather it be scripted or not} to use when i get in a rut, or when i feel depressed, or even when i just need help or guidance.. Tv doesn't have as much information as the internet.. but when you think about it tv can also encourage good behavior and can teach you a few things you didn't know.. I even see child shows encourage children to get up and move around and help to stimulate their brains.. Yes to much tv isn't good for anyone.. I will agree to that to an extent..
