Age difference

Well, no, not really.  This makes me wonder:  how long have you been married and did you consider the age difference when you got marrked?

I would say this a very individual thing.  If you both felt you were right for each other, who is to say it's not right?  I wouldn't concern myself with what other people think.  Are you happy?  That's what counts the most.

i dont think that is strange my mother is 20 years younger then my father so i have always grown up in a similar situation.  in my marriage my husband is only 2 year younger then me.  i think that as long as you both love each other and respect each other then who cares about the age.

  Why does it matter now? You are married. We have been married 42+ years. She is 76 and I am 67. It has been a wonderful relationship.

I am 44 and my boyfriend is 56.  Not as large as gap as yours, but it is twelve years.  Not a problem.  Not an issue.  We just have jokes about while he was walking the halls of the high school while I was learning to walk.

Age is only a number! LOVE is more important. Does it matter now that you are married? I wish all the happiness for you and your spouse. I am about 7 years older than my wife and she still loves me even though I have a few missing teeth.

My father was 17 years older than my mother.  If you like it I love it if it works for you fine.

I think it is a good thing there is a big 20 years difference, I am 47 and my spouse is 65.

My grandparents were almost 22 years apart.  I don't think I would do it but it worked for them

It depends upon the person.  My first husband was 10 years my senior, my second was 14 years my senior.  My current hubby is 21 months my junior.  When they are older than you, they feel they have more control over your life.  My aunt was married for 35 years and her husband was 17 years her senior.  She passed at the age of 61 (six days to her 62nd birthday) and her husband died nearly nine months after she died (in fact, when he died, it was their daughter's 36th birthday).  My sister's husband is 8 years her senior.  My uncle was nine years his wife's senior and they were married for 33 years when he passed.  In fact, they would have celebrated their 44th anniversary on Friday of last week.  I don't think your husband is too old per se, but you are asking if he is too old for you.  He wasn't too old when you married him, and something happened that changed your mindset.  Good luck.

I don't think it is any of my business what your ages are.  It's entirely up to you and you evidently don't have a problem with it so that's that.
