we sat by the pool tried to make it over to the beach but couldn't get a parking space so we just came home and sat outside and watch the ones that the neighbors were shooting off had a good day thow

I did nothing special. Just the stuff I would have done on any other day.

stayed home, worked online, got some baileys, got a lil' tipsy and went to sleep!  Nice, peaceful 4th!  Oh yeah, and had some good cheddar dogs!

Just stayed indoors because it rained.

 I ate out with my family. We always do that every 4th of July. We don't celebrate with fireworks or anything, but that's okay with me.

Had a big cookout and spent time  with the family

We found a greatly discounted rate on a resort about forty five minutes from the house.  My wife and kids went down on Thursday and I caught up with them on Friday. We swam in the lake, the pool, played card games and watched the fire works.  Saturday was pretty much of the same although we went to another resort for half the day.  Lots of rest, relaxation, family time, food and memories. As soon as we got back the kids went on their merry old ways to sleep overs at various friend's houses and left my wife and I to our own demise...LOL! We ended up watching some tennis and falling asleep early!

I took the kids to the dollar theater to see Divergent and later we ate pizza and watched fireworks.

I stayed at home and barbecued ribs in the oven.  I like my meat to cook in its own juices, so I seasoned them after I cleaned them and put them in aluminum foil.  I cooked them in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 and a half hours.  They were delicious.  I then walked down to my sister in-law's trailer and visited a friend of mine.  We have something in common, since my aunt was married to her father for 35 years.  She passed away October 17, 2007, 6 days before her 62nd birthday on October 23, and her funeral was the next day.  Her husband passed away July 11, 2008, exactly 8 months, 3 weeks after she passed.  My cousin (their daughter) was celebrating her 36th birthday.  My friend brought her son, and the last time I saw him, he was 4; he is now 16 going on 17.  My brother in-law's girlfriend's grandchildren were also here.

I stayed home and heard the fireworks show by dodgers stadium in L.A.

I had to work.  There were suppose to be 3 of us in my department this weekend.  But the department manager called in sick Fri and Sat.  I guess it was a coincidence that she also had tickets to a Atlanta Braves Baseball game the same weekend.  I am still really ticked.  It was so busy and we were slammed and very short handed.  It ended up being me and one other guy.  And to make things worse he tried to steal $4500 in sales from me.  So my weekend was not a good one.
