Payment with direct deposit

I'm confused. If you select direct deposit do you get your money within a few days of approval regardless of the cashout date or is it always after the 20th of the following month? Anyone with direct deposit had experience with this?

Never expect the payment before the 20th. It is possible to get your direct deposit before the 20th just don't expect it before then.
