Do you think your mood is affected by the people you're around?

Lately it does seem to affect me.  especially when they're grumpy or depressed

Absolutely! Smiles are contagious but unfortunately, so are frowns, which is why I remove myself from overly negative people.  I have a high vibration level and I'd like to keep it that way.

yes,if im in a good mood and one of my family members comes home all crabby,it most definitely puts me in a not so good mood

I most definitely think the mood of those around you influences the "mood" of me, especially my husband, when he's in a bad mood... it ruins mine...

If I can't emotionally lift the people around me...I'll walk away from the situation.  I'm energy sensitive so I won't allow someone else to pull me down or knock my feet out from under me emotionally.

When I went to Massage Therapy School I learned to remain grounded regardless of what's happening around me.

Absolutely. I try and surround myself with positive people. Negativity brings you down, so I try not to hang out with negative people.

Being a rather sensitive person, I would have to say that sometimes my mood can be very affected by the moods of other people around me. If they are sad, I feel some of their sadness; if they are happy, I share in their happiness; even when they hurt, I somehow feel some of that hurt.

Yes, a negative person and their attitudes can affect you if you allow it to.  Remember misery loves company.

Yes and no. Typically I don't let anyone ruin my mood; especially when I'm in a great mood. BUT, when I'm in a lousy mood, and someone else is feeding it, I guess it can work that way.

Yesterday I was around a rowdy bunch of people.  If the cursing didn't get to me eventually, the smoke would have anyway.  I ended up leaving without registering for what I came for, which I had been planning to do all week.  Although I didn't accomplish what I went there for I felt relieved when I got out of line. Moods absolutely are contagious (in my opinion).

Unfortunately I think our mood is definitely affected by those around us. We can be having a wonderful day and if someone says something unkind to us even if we know it's not true we become either sad, worried, or angry thus changing our mood entirely.
