I'm glad to see he's not being charged...and turns out the young man who died was under the influence of marijuana...

Yes, I agree the entire thing was just sad for everyone involved.  My heart goes out to the other drivers family.  And no matter what Tony Stewart has to live with what happened.

He used MJ a week before and for your information you do not remain under the influence for a whole week. It stays in your blood for 30 days but I do not believe there is any MJ that you will be under the effects of for a week. If you believe this then you need to do some research.

Tony did not do anything wrong.  The other driver was an idiot.  He jumped out of his car and angrily and aggressively tried to confront a car that was moving at a really high rate of speed.  Guess the pot had pretty much fried his brain if he thought he could stop him.  He was stupid.  The sad thing is Tony still has to live with this.  And I heard this morning that the guy who died - his family is going to bring a civil law suit against him.  I hope they laugh them out of the court room.  They need to just accept they raised an idiot and move on.

A week before?  And you get this info from where?  The news said he had enough pot in his system to effect his thinking.

They need to drug test their drivers during race day.

No one is going to know for sure if Tony meant to hit Kevin Ward (I think that was his name), because no one can get in the mind of Tony Stewart.

All I can say that is out of all the cars on the race track at that time, the driver Kevin had his "beef" with is the ONE that ended up hitting him. It that's not strange bananas then I don't know what is.  :o

This whole Tony Stewart thing has been blown out of control. Is there another video out there that I have not seen? The video that I saw showed a kid get out of his car, stand in front of his car (stupid in and of itself if someone hit his car), wait for Stewart's car to complete another lap, and then go out on the track in front of Stewart's car.  The kid should be charged with the crime of suicide and his family should be forced to pay the penalty if they start a civil suit. The scenario allowed Stewart few options: Lock up his brakes at one hundred and twenty miles per hour and slide into the kid and take out the several cars behind him as they try to avoid the mess...or Stewart could have cranked his steering wheel left or right which would have flipped his car/killed the kid/caused several cars to follow into a pileup...or follow what appears drivers are taught on the track when driving at high speeds which is to drive straight through an obstacle to avoid causing a more dangerous situation to several drivers by avoiding the flipping of your car.
