any ideas on how to get a17mth old to pt she starts and then stops?

I have a 20 months old and we're still working on it....don't rush her, she'll do it when she'll be ready!

My son will be 2 in a couple weeks and I have the same problem.  He'll even come to me holding his butt saying "go poo" because he just did and is uncomfortable in it!  And he likes to sit on the potty, but refuses to GO in the potty!  He'll get up and run in the living room and pee before I even get him dressed!  It's quite stressful so I'm up for any tips as well!!!  Good luck with yours!!

thanks yeah my daughter will do the same sit on the potty then get off and run and squat somewhere it is stressful i really dont want to do diapers no more aghh lol

This is the worst my son is 3 and for some reason refuses to use the potty...hes not afraid of it he just doesn't want to take the time to go to the bathroom. We have tried everything showing excitement rewarding him...nothing works. I am not sure what else we can do...he was doing very well for a while using the potty then we moved...now we r back to square 1
