on the left, under your user name, you can see the Post count. Every post you make, that will go up +1. You can also view your stats in your profile if you click on your username.

I think he's wondering if there a way to track on a per month basis, and for that I do not know, but I guess if you have a general sense of the number of posts you had last month, that could help.

Just go to your user profile and view your posts. Add up the number of posts for the month you want and there's your number.

I think it say 30-60 days for credit, I'm not sure though.

The post explaining the Forum Post credit says 2-3 weeks, but I'm not sure if that is 2-3 weeks from when you turn it in or from the end of the month.  I turned mine in a last week sometime, so we'll see.  I hope soon though.
