we had a yard so nicely decorated and someone came into my yard last night and stole alot of the decorations we had put out and what makes me mad is the cops just say there is nothing they can do because i don't no of anyone who would do something like this people just are so nasty any more why would they do this all i can say is if i find out who it was they will go to jail

where i live they wont go to jail i only wishhere children can be molested and if the molester can pass the poly they get off scott free  a person can be trespassing and the cops can catch them n if they are drinking they are just told to go home over and over and over this actually happened to me. i could go on and on but you get the idea

That is a pity!  It seems like there are people who are always ready to spoil something.  It's a case of "a few bad apples..."  But it seems like people are either envious and spiteful or don't want to work and pay for their own.
A friend recently told me about an acquaintance of hers who saw a new expensive car parked in two parking spaces (a ways out in the parking lot, too) and the acquaintance purposely parked close to it and her kids managed to put a small ding in the car because she was so close and didn't caution them when they opened the doors of their own car.   I consider that low class!

Sounds like a few bored kids.   This is a good example why it is now necessary to buy home cameras; and to watch & videotape those people selling packages off people's porches. 

Did you see that one guy the other day who posted some kid stealing a package off his porch, he posted the video up on his facebook & people identified the kid & he got back what was stolen from him 

Home surveillance cameras are on the top of my list for the new years!

I am sorry your decorations were taken, some people just like to steal and then there our those who can't stand to see someone put nice decorations up. Me I love to see them all nice and pretty in the yards. I do not put up any decorations, except for a large star. But I do  believe everyone has the right to decorate their yards, just like I have the right to go to Church and celebrate the birth of Christ for Christmas.

I feel your pain.  I remember a Halloween when someone came into my yard and stole the newest decorations as well as the 6 ft. skeleton I had.

i agree with all of you if i had my choice i will beat there asses and make them pay for all of it that they stole but because i can't do that i won't but they will pay one way or another kids do not respect anything anymore or i should say most of them it makes me so mad

People do things like that because they are envious, bored, stupid, or just plain mean.  It's bad enough to do that to anyone, but to do that to you when you have your health issues is just rotten.  I am so sorry you lost so many of your things.  My daughter had one of the big snowman in her yard, oaid $60.00 for it, was there 1 night and the next morning it was gone!  I know this gets you angry, but  please don't let a few jerks spoil your Christmas spirt.  Again, I am sorry you lost your decorations.

I don't see people as "mean"; however, I can understand why you might not trust people.  Whenever you experience something like that...

it's natural to be angry.

Maybe in the future, it's in your best interest to decorate the inside of your home where you can enjoy the decorations without feeling like you could be betrayed by strangers.  Unfortunately, some people steal and I'm sorry to say that.
