Frigid Weather here in Midwest
« on: January 08, 2015, 05:33:36 am »
We have been hit hard with an Arctic Blast for the past few days--BRRRRR! Woke up this morning to the coldest day here in Wisconsin so far this winter. It was -11 with a wind chill of 28 below. Layers of cold weather clothes are a definite must when going outside. That wind is treacherous!  :snowman:

I am in Michigan and it is about the same.  I am trying not to turn my furnace up because of the drain on energy and the bill that would accompany it.  However, the cold seeps into the house no matter in these temps with the wind chill.  Once in a while it seems like the house actually protests the cold when it "creeks!"  I so dislike winter and this kind of weather underscores it!

It's frigid in Georgia, ten degrees this morning.

We are getting our share of frigid weather here on the east cost as well. I  just hope we don't get a lot of snow this winter. If it stays cold but above freezing I am fine with it.

Yep, the north pole is here! I'm grateful I have enough clothes to go out in this freezer.

It's going to be a long cold winter this year again.

I'm not speaking out against the global warming people or anything, but it definitely seems to be getting colder and colder each year.  I'm not really liking this.
