Energy

What's the best food to eat to give you lots of energy? Sometimes it's so hard for me to get up in the mornings and is there some food or vitamin to make it easier to get up in the mornings?

Coffee/tea are common for a lot of people...there's always energy drinks too, but I avoid those.

I prefer orange juice and fruit smoothies....help clear out my system and add some energy.

I have been drinking coffee for a long time.  However, the older I get the less I drink.  Maybe because I don't have to get up early in the morning.  Now I only drink one cup a day - two at the most.  I also like orange juice - real orange juice.

I drink a water bottle filled with ginger tea sweetened with honey, and chia seeds in the morning.
It helps me get going, and gives me energy.

I guess something with caffeine would be the general answer. But I'm just assuming you're looking for something a little healthier. I notice when I have a good breakfast then the rest of the day my energy is pretty good. I like to make fruit smoothies or have scrambled eggs with some veggies. One smoothie I like to make that I feel gives me a lot of energy is berry and kale. I just put in a cup of water (I have to watch the dairy but you could add something other than water), the amount of berries (usually the frozen kind: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) varies on how much I want to make. Anywhere from 1/2 to a cup and half a handful of kale.
