Agreed - in fact I hold all politicians in pretty low esteem however in his role as a Dad I feel sorry for him to have lost his son.  Terrible thing to go through I am sure.  Also feel bad for his son to have his life cut short by such a horrid disease.   :rose:

I don't look at political affiliation when I hear these things.  The Bidens are a family, just like any other family, and this is truly a tragedy for them.  I understand fully what they're going through and only wish them the very best.  RIP, Beau Biden and thank you for your service.

I had no idea that Joe's suffered so much loss in his lifetime. Prayers to him and his family. :(

I heard that family is VERY important to Mr. Biden and that it is one of his foremost values.  A loss of a second child, at so young an age, due to such a vile disease as brain cancer, is horribly sad.  In fact, sad is not a good enough word.  I am so, so sorry for the vice-president and the remainder of his family.  How heartbreaking!!!
And Beau, I also heard you were a very good guy who loved your family very much yourself.  I do hope you are in a great place as your life ended much too early.

I'm not crazy about "Uncle Joe" or his politics but he has undergone such tragedy in his life that I feel really sad for him. It probably hurts a lot, especially since he almost lost him in the tragic traffic accident years ago.

His son definitely had a background to be proud of and I'm sure he would have followed in his father's footsteps going to D.C. in the future.

Sad, too, that he leaves 2 small children. It has to be very hard on them, too.

My heart goes out to the entire Biden family.  To lose a member is heartbreaking.  May they find the strength they will need to get through this.

It is very hard to lose a child. I just hope that they will do something about healthcare and will change the price of the pills for cancer.Obamacare doesn't cover anything and people can not afford to buy medication. They don't even get SSI.I don't have anybody in my family with cancer but i see how they fight to survive and it is hard to watch.
