how can low be more  or more be low?

then, some advertisers want you to bundle and I am not sure if there is a deal there either.
it isn't worth "the savings" if you don't need that third item in the bundle.

I agree. That is why I really dislike when things get bundled, esp. if you have to pay for some items you'd never use just to save some money on other stuff you do use. I think this is a major reason why so many people are choosing to "cut the cable" when it comes to watching TV; people don't like having to buy a channel package when they only watch a small fraction of those channels.

As for the confusion of "as low as $7 more", I think that this is more of a case of poor grammar. For one thing, it should have read "as low as $7 or more". But even that isn't quite correct as you astutely pointed out; it really should be "as low as $7 or less". I think they were trying to say that the discount could be greater (thereby making the final cost less), but since they were talking about the price and not the discount in the first part of that phrase, then the second part should have followed suit.

I am not sure I understand your post.  Sounds like you are saying they tell you it is cheaper to bundle but you end up paying more than you are now.  Kind of like when I was at McDonald's and wanted a burger and drink and he told me it is cheaper to get the combo.  I made him ring it up both ways at it was cheaper to get it the way I ordered it.  I try not to get mad at the cashier because they are doing what they are told.  They are suppose to push the combos.  The same with the sales associates who are suppose to push the bundle which equals more sales for the company.  Kind of like where I work when they want to write up cashiers for not selling extended warranties, scanning loyalty cards, or getting phone numbers.  Most people just want to purchase what they want and go on.  Too many companies want to have control in our lives and lock you down in a contract.  I won't sign another contract to have service with any one.  If I can't buy month to month and cancel when I want to then I will find someone else to do business with.

they want you to get excited over the headline then they reel you in thinking you are getting one heck of a good offer --but really you are not ! be careful at all times and always read the small print!

I think advertisers say what ever they think sounds good and will make them money since that is their bottom line; that's why it's important to always read the fine print, but sometimes that can be confusing as well!!

Watch out, I totally agree with you. Why pay for something that you don't need or want.
