Mixed Feeling, very Down today, feel like crying hard

 I have mixed feeling feel like crying and very very very deeply upset. I wish something would happen and change my mood.

I'm sorry you are so depressed, I don't know if something is wrong, or you are just depressed.  When I get upset, I think there is always someone worse off than I am.  I may not have good health (and I don't), but I have a roof over my head, food in the house, good friends, and great family.  That is lots more than some people have.  Hope that helps you, even a little.

I remember a time in my life when I felt like I was in a really dark place. I was ever so unhappy. The best advice I can give you, and it really worked for me, is to get a little bit of exercise. I started playing badminton (which I am good at), which lifted my spirits. I enjoyed being competitive again and I started to see that the sun comes up every morning, most people in the world are good, and as I was exercising, I became healthier and healthier. It doesn't need to be anything high impact, just walking a dog or cycling will do the trick. You'll be alright!

Thank you for your concerns.... I have no health issues.... families are all fine... I have wonderful great family who are all very understanding........ Just feeling so sad and down today..... after all one more day cant wait for the long weekend.

I will take the exercise advise. just cant find time to take for myself. being so busy and running with tight hectic schedule. Stress gives so much depression. I am exercise will help relieve the depression and stress.

My mother always told me that when you are feeling down and depressed, do something nice for someone else.  That will take your mind off yourself and the joy you give someone else will be returned to you.

I have been through some things and I certainly don't want to compare myself to you.  But I have learned that I am the only one in charge of my mindset.  No matter what is going on...I promise you it could be worse.  Control what you can control and don't worry about the things you can't control.  If you do that, your mind will be at peace.  And remember...every storm runs out of rain.

Sometimes you just have to schedule time for yourself...no matter.  When the effects of not having this time gets to this level, you are harming your mental, and maybe eventually, your physical health.  Remember the saying...If mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy?"  Well, sometimes you have to be responsible for your own happiness and well-being.  Do your best to take care of yourself!

sorry you down  but remember this god does not give us more then we can handle and i know this for a fact you have to look at it like this you have friends here on fusion cash that really care and you can depend on us so anytime you need to talk just do a post and i promise a lot of people will be here for you so keep that in mind  god loves everyone and won't let you down

I hope you feel better soon I have recently figured out that I am pretty much depressed every day have had this struggle since my husband died 2 1/2 years ago.  I know I have a lot to be thankful for but I am still sad and lonely.  I see where you are already better that is good I need to do something to change my situation but I guess am gonna have to wait on God.

I've had days like that.  My kitties are great at trying to get me out of it.    I just try to do something, anything I can get into, then I list all the things I did do that day and pat myself on the back for getting those things done.  Even the little everyday things.  Anything's better than nothing.  Celebrate the little accomplishments, it can start an upward spiral.

I was at Lowe's in the Lawn and Garden area and I was carrying around a flower bloom I picked up off the ground.  The bloom was pretty but that's all there was.  Just the bloom.  It was pretty good sized.  There was an elderly lady near the register and I gave that bloom to her.  She smiled and sincerely thanked me.  You never know how a small gesture can mean something to someone else.

Around Christmas my cousin was in her car in the parking lot of a grocery store she works at and feeling depressed.  This kid had a stack of Christmas cards and was randomly handing them out to people.  My cousin is one of the ones who got a card.  She said she sat there and cried for 10 minutes before she could go inside.

hemapreethaa, if there's one thing that's CRITICAL to your happiness, it's taking some time for YOURSELF.  You say you're on a tight and hectic schedule which causes a lot of stress.  Stress is a major factor in depression.  Try to figure out a way to rearrange your schedule to better suit your "Me Time."  You have to do something for yourself, even if it's just laying in a bath tub full of bubbles and relaxing.  You matter, too, so make time for yourself.  I hope you'll figure all of this out and that you'll feel better very soon.

When I'm down and depress, I think of something that I like to do, go out, have a window shopping, go to the park or go visit a friend. Sometimes I played video games. Anything that can might change my mood.
