Do you cook? If so what's for dinner tonight?
« on: September 02, 2015, 11:14:11 am »
I cook Monday-Thursday (I'm a southern girl, so I cook from scratch)
Friday- Is date night, my fiance takes us out to dinner and a movie
Saturday and Sunday - my fiance cooks ( his favorite is bbq outside)

I'm cooking:
Oxtails Stew
Rice and Gravy and cornbread

What's for dinner at your place tonight?

No cooking, no mess, no junk food! Try to eat cool or cold food because it is healthier.

It's 95 and mugggggy here, so anything simple and quick.

Had a lovely salad today with veggies/lettuce from the garden.

I love cooler weather (Wisconsin here), and start making soups etc.

Stay cool   :rose:

Today I'm cooking some Salmon Burgers. I use just a simple can of salmon, grated carrots and lemon zest, leftover mash potato, chopped cilantro, egg to bind, and salt and pepper. I form them into burger size patties, egg wash them and place them in panko crispy breadcrumbs. Then I lightly fry them in olive oil. The carrots keep the salmon burgers moist and the bread crumbs make them really crispy on the outside. I usually sprinkle in a little sea salt and serve with a wedge of lemon.

I don't like cooking, but when I'm alone, I have too. But tonight I'm going to order a calzone, with mushrooms and black olives.
