What did you do this past weekend?

Did you do anything exciting this past weekend?  I shoe shopped and grocery shopped,  that's about
all I did.

Stayed at my mom's this weekend while she recovered from surgery.

nope nothing exciting here --my truck is in the shop and i have no wheels right now so i just stayed home with the dogs and watch movies --cleaned the house and did a little cooking but no that was exciting oh and it rained all day saturday and was so cold --but sunday was much better weather wise !

We packed up our two girls (9 and 24) and headed to Cincinnati to visit Kings Island.  It was a miserable weekend: cold, wet, and rainy and my old shoes had a huge hole in the sole so my feet/socks were SOAKING wet Friday night.  We found a WalMart and a cheap pair of shoes that night and spent another cold and rainy day at the park on Saturday.  Weather was still miserable, but layers of clothes + ear muffs/hats + gloves + DRY shoes + VERY short lines for some EXCELLENT rides = a nice time despite the weather!


(It was a beautiful warm sunny Sunday drive back home)

Went to fund raiser for Pulonary Fibrosis. Event was a huge success- $22K was raised!!!

 I played volleyball,l helped in sharefest which is where we help seniors with projects like window washing tree trimming etc, mowed my lawn., Sunday went to church  went to red robin and then grocery shopping where I got a great deal on yogurt and progresso soup.

Canned tomatoes Friday and Saturday.  then went out to take some to my dad, shopped at farmers market, Oh yeah of course cleaned up the kitchen put the big pans and canner away. Now Sunday we went to Church and stopped to see how our neighbor was doing with his truck sales, bought tomatoes for neighbor and come home. Now I have 2 or more boxes (21 lb.) to can Tues. Lots of work but so good.

I talked on the phone quite a bit. My girlfriend lives in VA and I live in PA.

I relaxed at home, watched movies, worked on Fusion Cash and just enjoyed my weekend.

Celebrated my mom birthday at Panya for dinner.  Then had another family gathering at my aunty's house on Sunday night.

I went to Lowes with my mom and sisters to get paint and other supplies to redecorate her (my mom's) home. It was quite fun. I love our excursions.

I went to my daughter's house. On Sunday we went to an Osh Kosh B'Gosh store and bought her new baby some gorgeous clothes. We really splurged there which we should not have because the baby will be growing out of her current size in just a few months anyways. But it was a lot of fun to do. On Monday I took care of my granddaughter because her daycare was closed due to Columbus Day. I had a lovely day playing with her all day and she seemed to enjoy it too.

This past weekend, I worked, rode my bicycle with my husband, worked on my crochet blanket for my mother-in-law's birthday gift, and did homework.
This weekend, however, I will be participating in a 30 mile bicycle ride and then going to the bar after work with some friends.

We went to the Jefferson Starship concert here, we had front row meet and greet tickets! It was so cool! I am still suffering slight hearing loss from being so close to the speakers. But so well worth it!
