How do you prevent yourself from doing something you regret?

Try to ask myself "will I regret this later?"

I have internal dialogs with myself. I also have the Holy Spirit in me whom convicts me to do right and what's best for me.

But when you are mad you don't really stop to ask yourself these things... Do you?

Learn from the painful ones so that they are no longer regrets!

There is nothing wrong with regret, it's a strict taskmaster, but very effective teacher.

It'd be great if we could get thru life with no regrets but that's not going to happen.  And, regretting what you may have done is not going to change anything.  Just learn from the mistake and move on.

Follow your heart. And listen to your body. It knows a lot about you.

You could try to journal and write about it before making those actions.

It's more important to stop repeatedly doing things that you'll regret. If you do it once then you learn from it. The issue arises when you regretted doing it previously and still repeat the action.

Think twice before you act. Regrets are OK. We all make mistakes in our lives because we are not perfect. We just keep trying to be perfect.

As long as you are the who make a decision and if the outcome is not good,  and you regret it atleast you tried and no one to be blame. Next time just be careful and learn from what happen.

My intuition usually holds me back and I usually trust my instincts.
