men are already babies! i cannot imagine them dealing with the pain of childbirth nor raising the child!

i'd much rather keep things the way they are. when i was pregnant with my daughter, i loved that my husband went to work while i stayed home. and then he would come home and pamper me. so if he were able to get pregnant, then i would have to do the same for him. and i'd rather not. 

on top of that, i also wouldn't want him to be able to get preganant because now that our daughter is getting bigger (19 months) he's caught a case of baby fever. had i not gotten my tubes tied i think he would seriously want another baby and i don't!!!

Awesome question...I always joke that if I ended up pregnant I'd be rich from all the publicity LOL.

But I disagree with the notion that men do nothing to contribute to pregnancy.  Studies show that women release pheromones during the months of pregnancy that affect the body chemistry of their husbands (and possibly other men in close, constant proximity as well).  This, among other things, triggers a "nesting" attitude in men, though I guess some by their nature probably suppress it.

Well since men have none of the organs needed for carrying a child for 9 months, then this is obviously a non-issue. As a woman who has been pregnant and gone through labor, I think men get it pretty easy in that department! They make their "deposit" and then the woman gets to do the rest of the work for 9 months.

That is another one of the long list of reasons that patrimony is ridiculous.
We all should celebrate our differences and recognize that neither sex is superior or more important than the other.

Women are the givers of life, men are the takers of life. Both equally important functions.

Well God has a plan, and that obviously is not part of it. I do not question God's methods, He knows what He is doing. He has a plan and purpose for all of us, and if we would quit questioning and start listening, we would be happier people.

Oh wow, I don't think that men are emotionally equipped to have babies. Physically, yes but emotional no.
It's too hard to see men having emotional period. They will have to cry during pregnancy and some are just to hard headed to kick the cigarettes and alcohol.
Perhaps if they had to have babies, they will understand exactly how it feels and want less children. I don't particularly want to see pregnant men around town. It will be very disburting to me.

When I was younger I may have supported men having babies, but let me tell you they age faster then women, they would probably die early, women are much stronger and built for the process.
