well, they were going to play Christmas music at my job until some co-workers complained, so we all ended up having to listen to music from 80's & 90's.  REALLY SAD, if you ask me!

Some people are just issue mongers and no matter what you say if it is different from their particular view, world or reality they cannot and will not get over it.  Just accept the good wishes and smile back! For goodness sake!

If there was anything more that I could wish for it would be to live in peace and harmony. Don't ruin the rest of 2015 with the small little stuff. If anyone is offended just keep walking and say it to the next person you see. Merry Christmas and a happy joyous new year.

2015 is the year that everyone got offended by everything. It's sad that everyone has to be "politically correct" and I think people are just becoming cry babies and soft.

i just watched a movie about something ill never understand but it was quite entertaining. it reminded me of how special movie stunts are to the things i truly enjoy. taking the time to understand a culture that is outside the box broadens your perception. the world was once flat to those who had seen it. anyway i like to learn about the other holidays as well in order to "melt into a seasonal fashion." it is winter now here but summer else where. may your holidays be filled with wings from a delicious buffalo or (instert choice of food here).

It seems like everybody is just looking for an excuse to start a fuss anymore.

Some people are more educated than others. Some people are more sensitive about their religion than others. To me it doesn't matter. I would simply say " I don't practice this religion".

I think we really need to get some perspective on what really matters.

I don't feel that it used to be this way, but it has been recently. I don't know why, but it seems like the latest thing. Remember when everyone was offended by the red Starbucks cup?

It's funny isn't it how people are so self absorbed that they cannot contemplate any other reality than their own. I am a Christian, and I do greet people with whatever I feel like, and sometimes people greet me. The point is, it's the greeting that I take as a positive thing. I don't mind if people want to believe something other than what I believe. I live on a "live and let live" premise. Now do I want someone ramming their beliefs down my throat? No I don't. Therefore I do not ram my beliefs down other people's throats. I treat others how I want to be treated myself.

I'm with you, other people don't know what you believe in. All you have to do is tell them and be kind about it.

People need to stop being little babies and expecting the world to cater to them.

I know if someone said Happy Hanukkah I would not be offended~I would say, Oh, you must be Jewish~I'm a Christian. Why would ANYONE get offended by someone saying Merry Christmas? It is a happy, warm, pleasant, kind greeting! People are so incredibly self absorbed these days~what do you think?

If I were greeted with "Happy Hanukkah", I would respond with a "thank you" and a smile. If I were greeted with "Merry Christmas", I'd put my money in the kettle and say "Merry Christmas" back.

No one should be belittled by saying a greeting to someone else or by not saying a greeting at all. It's a choice. I would prefer everyone said "Merry Christmas", but I feel it's not my choice to choose for others.

As for being offended by things that are said and done to me, or about me, I was offended a lot when I was a child and I thought it wasn't fair.  :'( Then I grew up.  :-\  Well, at least I'm adult-sized.  ;)
