can't verify phone number can I use direct depostit instead?

I was wondering if I use direct deposit do I still need to verify my phone number? It does not like any phone number I've tried and I do not have access to a fax machine.

as far as I know you have to verify through a phone # no matter how you get paid.   They say a landline is better, but I

I went to the library and had my information faxed. Hopefully soon I can put in for my check.

I no longer have those ugly red words glaring at me! I was able to put in for a cashout in January. I do thank all those involved who helped me with this matter.  I am very relieved to have this resolved.
