business phone numbers

some companies have more than one phone number.
one might be repair, another customer service and another something else.
I had such an experience this morning with my internet provider.
When I called repair, they told me to call customer service.
When I called customer service, there was no answer at all.
When I called a third number, my problem was addressed and resolved.
Third time's a charm, right?
I am going to keep that third phone number on hand for future reference to call first.
