Do you read the grocery stores sales papers before you go shopping? I usually do so I can make a little and get my coupons together.

Always!  That's how I can tell what's on sale and match my coupons with sale items.

We don't have a store who gives us coupons  in our tiny newspaper.  If you want to know what is for sale you have to go into the store and pick up a sales  flyer.  That way they already have you in the store and then the sales are the greatest.  So if i should have to go into the store i will look at a flyer, but if i don't need to go i just miss out on some sales. I normally  wait for my big purchases until i go to Walmart or Sam's club which are many miles from us. But i do save a lot of money by buying several  items  of each thing and save a bundle also buy my meat in bulk and the freeze it

Sad to say That I not only read them...I look forward to receiving them in the mail.  Friends and family have an ongoing joke about me being upset about receiving the sale paper/store circulars late.

My mother always read the grocery fliers for any deals.. I dont usually look at them since I buy most of my stuff in retail warehouse, farmer's market, asian supermarkets, and online stores

The sale papers come in the mail on Tuesdays & I plan my shopping at 3 stores based on where my typical meal plan items are on sale.   This week it will be Sprouts getting my business... chicken *bleep*, my staple, are $1.77 a pound.

Don't you let your family and friends get to you.   :silly: LOL.  There's nothing wrong with looking for the circulars.  We get a coupon magazine every month or so that I look forward to getting.  Out of the hundreds of coupons and discounts available, my husband and I may only use one or two.  I just like paging through to see what's what and if there are any new businesses in the area that I should check out.

Most important part of Wednesday night!  Go thru the sales that start on Thursday and make my grocery list and check my coupons for Friday night shopping after work.  One of the best ways I can try and save some money now a days.

I read the grocery store sales ads to determine if I can "stack" coupons; which means, I might use a manufacture coupon with a store sale.  I get a kick out of doing that. :)
Have a great day!

It depends on how much time I have, but yes, I usually look at the grocery store sale papers when I go shopping. Even semi-routinely looking at them over time can be a help in saving money. So I try to stay in the habit of perusing them.
