I had a family BBQ, my friend celebrated his birthday and we went out and seen an awesome fireworks show in town. We also attended a parade and we watched movies and just enjoyed some R&R time. What did you do?

My husband and I had a quiet day at home. Our fourth of July celebration was on Saturday over my aunt's house. Some family came in from out of town. There was lots of food.

I worked on the 4th of July....but it was a good day.  Attended the local festivities with the residents and later after work, watched fireworks.

Oooh, lots of things. 10 mile hike, lunch with a friend and then BBQ and beer with different friends. Very busy day.

We had to do a lot of yard work. We kept putting off doing yard work because of the heat the previous weeks and now we thought maybe we will do something different as a family by weeding and mowing our land and yard. We ended up grilling some hot dogs and burgers for dinner play some card games and watch the fire works at night. We didn't have any family or relatives around because they were all out of town.

I played and sang patriotic songs and watched fireworks at a park.

My girlfriend and I went out to Gettysburg. It rained the whole time but we had a real nice time and I took over 200 pictures.

Tried to keep our dogs calm. Three out of the four of them do ok but our one dog just hates loud noises. We live close by a military base and that gets her going too. She spent most of the night with me.

Partied with our neighbors and took an Uber to and from a party downtown. One of our other friends has a commercial building and we watched fireworks from every surrounding city from our friend's roof top. Both Uber drivers were super nice and efficient.  We totally expected a long wait or high bill coming from the middle of downtown Denver but were pleasantly surprised. We also had to pass through one police check point (looking for drunk drivers) and saw half a dozen cars pulled over with people attempting to walk straight lines for the on looking police officer. Our Uber cost thirty eight dollars versus a drunk driving ticket that, I have heard, can cost up to ten thousand dollars. Doesn't make too much sense to drink and drive.

Stayed home and was on Fusion cash.  It rained all day so hubby went and bought hot dogs for the family so it would feel like a bbq and we watched fireworks on tv.
