I love life!!! Do you?

It is such a good feeling to get to a place where I enjoy being alive.  I am sometimes oppressed or saddened by the reality of life itself but I thank God that He has given me such peace of mind that despite life's reality, I love life.  I pray that you all will get to a point where you can enjoy that same peace.  Have a great day!

      The reality of life is: Sometimes life is really hard. My opinion is: One life to live...you only live once. I love life...life loves me!

Yeah, I'm grateful for my life and my family. Things could be better, but I thank God for what I have now and the great things to come in the future.

I think that life is a much better alternative to the other option. I am happy every day that I wake up and find that I am not in a body bag with a toe tag! I have a sister who hasn't agreed with me on this point for ten months as she has tried numerous times to douse her light. The last time had her in a flight for life helicopter to an emergency neuro surgeon who could cut a hole in the side of her head roughly the size of an NFL football to relieve pressure from a sub dural hematoma. Her first attempt at suicide was a heroin overdose and then she abused prescription drugs for about fifteen years. Those avenues got closed so she moved on to alcohol abuse. The last episode was a result of falling and hitting her head while intoxicated. Resulting brain damage made it easier to coerce her into an expensive rehabilitation center.  So sad because there are so many people that would love to have the opportunities she has.

So sad to read the last post. I knew a young girl who died of an illness when she was only 28, having just had a baby. She just about managed to see her son's first birthday before she finally died. I know she would have given anything to see her son grow up, as we all would, so it is sad to hear about someone abusing what life they have been given. I am sad for you also that you have to watch this. I remember my friend so very well, and her illness and death affected me enormously. At times I wondered what the point of living was if we're only going to die. But that was before I had kids. Now that I have kids I can see that my life is not about me. It's not about how long I live or how I die. It's about being there for my kids, as in reality, I would die right this minute for my kids.

Nope, not much. I have yet to figure out why I am here under the circumstances I am in. What is the point of being alive and sick since day 1? it ruins you financially, limits everything, etc...

Yes. It has its ups and downs but I definitely love life and the people in my life!
