Have you been watching the olympics? I really have not but I watch the news on them when watching my sports news for the day.

It is end of Day 6.  The gymnastics earlier today are wrapping up on NBC now.  Simone is one power-packed gal as she gave such a convincing gold medal performance.  WOW!  Love the way she bounces back up from the floor when she appears to fall.  Gives you chills watching that kind of talent among so many very talented gymnasts competing in Rio.

I agree and it was exciting to see Aly Raisman succeed in her comeback to win the silver. I can hardly wait until tonight to see Michael Phelps win another Gold, that guy is uncanny.

I jumped for joy when Aly got the Silver. it could be me, but the Russian girl seemed to have a nasty attitude, but it was probably just stress.   :)

I cried when Simone and Aly won. I was so happy for them. They tried so hard. :)

I love watching the gymnastics. Simone's floor exercise was a WOW!!!! Especially, when she went from a standing to a sitting and bounced right up to a standing. I couldn't believe my eyes!

I missed the pool diving exercises. I like those, too. Poetry in motion.

Our teams have done a terrific job this year. All the USA should be proud of the 38 medals won.

Gymnastics have been my fav for many, many years. I put my daughter into Gymnastics and she put her daughter into it as well.

I even ended up doing it because we moms thought it looked so fun; and it was! It's challenging and fun to do.

No. They're just like any other games that don't really matter to me.

I have been watching women's gymnastics and by proxy, swimming. Don't love the swimming but it's on in between the gymnastics. I DVR it and skip a lot of what I don't want to see.

I actually haven't been watching this time around. Normally I'd catch the gymnastics but just didn't feel like watching. I have been reading all the stories and keeping track that way.

No to be honest the Olympics is just not my thing.  There has been only a couple of years that I watched a few minutes of it here and there but yea just not my thing.

I always look forward to watching the Summer Olympics. Even certain sports that I don't normally watch, like rowing. I think it's because they only come around once every four years, so it's exciting to me. This year is no different. Some of my favorites are swimming, gymnastics, track and field, and diving. Some of these competitions have gone down to the wire.
