i love appetizers too and think that they should be the whole meal sometimes. I like little slices of avocado drizzled with balsamic vinegar, marinated mushrooms, black olives, Triscuits spread with Boursin cheese, etc. Stuff like that. Yummy!

Stuffed mushrooms and brown sugar bacon wrapped hot dogs are good. Chips & white cheese is my favorite though.

Ours is spinach and artichoke dip but it has to be warm.  I have recipe that we make every time we entertain.

I had some bacon-wrapped shrimp at a fund-raiser this past weekend.  It was so delicious, I almost passed out.  And no, it wasn't the wine.

Not crazy about stuffed mushrooms myself personally because I don't like mushrooms.  I prefer fried okra with a dipping sauce or some kind of chicken bites - also like mozzarella sticks dipped in marinara sauce - lol pretty much anything but mushrooms. By the way now I am starving.  OOoooooh also like jalapeno poppers.

I like hummus on a Ritz.

My 19 year old grand-daughter came this summer for a visit. She was a vegan at the time.

She introduced us to hummus....oh oh! I love it.

So I have hummus on a Ritz.  Not sure if you would call it an appetizer. It could be, or a snack, or dessert.
