Yes!  Pretty shocking to say the least.  I had read the other day that her Mom said that she was doing well.  I guess she must have had another heart attack.  RIP, Carrie Fisher.

I had heard the same, that she was improving. That's why I am so shocked to hear the news she passed on.  :( :'( 2016 took so many: David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, Carrie Fisher... forgive me if I've missed any! What's really strange to me is that I just bought a copy of the book Watership Down and no more than an hour later I read that the author had just died, too! :sad1: I hope we make it through these last few days without anymore deaths... :rose: :heart:

I really thought she was going to get better :( 2016's just been horrible with all the deaths. I loved her as a kid watching Star Wars, and rewatching it throughout the years, and loved her more as adult. I got to see how funny and smart she was.

R.I.P....it is really sad, I heard she was still in ICU but was stable, which I thought meant she was on the mend. She was quite the character and her humor and wit will be missed.

I read a really sad tweet that was sent in the name of her dog.  When someone passes on, it's probably really hard for pets to understand what is going on.  I know she will be missed.

RIP... Just so sudden. Heart attack on the plane then passed away. I will always remember her as Princess Leia.  May the Force be with her.
