Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi

As you've probably heard by now, the next Star Wars film in the Saga will be called The Last Jedi- presumably referring to Luke Skywalker- as he was dubbed by Yoda. Of course, it could be referring to Rey also as his new apprentice.

In any case, I think it's a cool title. Seems a throwback to Return of the Jedi- which just happens my favorite movie.

Or it could be Jedi in the plural form since it is used both ways. Regardless, December cannot come soon enough.

I am sooo looking forward to seeing "The Last Jedi."  But I'm also vey excited about the next backstory movie, which will be the Han Solo story. That was due out in May 2018, but I heard it's been pushed back to Dec. 2018. Well, one Star Wars film a year isn't bad.

I am wondering if they are going to bring a digital Carrie Fisher into the movie.. That would be cool, but since she can't be paid, I'm not sure how that works. Pay her family for using her likeness?

As far as I know Carrie Fisher finished filming her scenes for this movie. Now when it comes to time to film the other one, I'm not sure. I'm excited for this movie. It could refer to a lot of things. Hopefully way more Luke Skywalker. I was disappointed he was in so little of the last movie.

Yes, this film will be Carrie Fisher's last film appearance. It's uncertain if her character's fate will be revealed here, or in the next film-Episode 9.
