Just heard Mary Tyler Moore passed away at 80 years.  She played Laura to Rob on the Richard Van Dyke show.  It was really called *bleep* Van Dyke, but it won't allow me to write *bleep*.  She also starred in her own show Mary Tyler Moore Show.  RIP

Danny  Thomas' daughter, Marlo Thomas [no, she isn't dead] has been a role model too with her series "That Girl". she is doing great work with St. Jude's. I think she started her own show I have seen videos on youtube.
Sally Field was/ is another admirable role model

It's weird, because just these past few days (before I found out she had passed), I was thinking about a short article I had read on her in Reader's Digest when she was 64. She was talking about how she tries to stay active every day and rides her horses. I guess this is the first big celebrity death this year...?
