Happy Chocolate Mint Day!

OHYA, love this combo. Now, I just heard over the tv that there's chocolate mint cereal, I want to try it. Any good recipes that requires this chocolate mint? Have a gr8 day,

If you like mint there are some really good mint teas that make the very best ever Ice tea in the summer ... I guess you could eat chocolate while drinking!!   Kidding on that part, but the mint tea is really refreshing and different than the normal tea.

I just saw thin mint cereal in Kroger.  I wasn't to sure about that.. There was also a caramel crunch one... suppose to resemble the samoa cookie.  Oh man now I'm craving chocolate mint.  Darn it... and I have to go to back to Kroger later tonight.  I might have to pick some up.

Since Thin Mints have been mentioned, add York Peppermint Patties to the list!  This is what I found on the internet about this national "food" day:

"McDonald’s will also be adding a Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappe, Shamrock Hot Chocolate, and a Shamrock Mocha. The Chocolate Chip Frappe will have a mocha flavoring mixed with the typical shamrock flavor and topped with mocha. If that does not sound mouth-watering delicious, the mocha will be mixed with chocolate syrup, espresso, steamed milk, and…well…we are sure you can guess, the shamrock flavor.

All these additions to the menu are going to make it harder to get into bikini season! Regardless, you need celebrate National Chocolate Mint Day this weekend the right way. I love both chocolate and mint and yesterday was my birthday! What a perfect match for me.
I have found that chocolate flavored things like cereals really don't taste anything like real chocolate and worth the money.

Every day is Chocolate Mint Day in my family.

Chocolate mint is my favorite flavor for ice cream. I also like chocolate mint candy like Andes. I don't generally like all the "national whatever days", but I can get behind a day like Chocolate Mint Day!
