Do you get along with your next door neighbors ?

I had for 5 years, without a problem till just a few weeks ago, they leave for the winter so i keep a eye on their house. All kinds of people have been parking in there parking spots because the business down the street has been really busy, I let him know and he acted like he didn't know about it, saying i"ll fix things when I get back in a month. Well it's gotten out of hand and it's now a huge deal because the business don't close till 11:00pm and its the employees so they are out rumbling around at close to midnight slamming doors shining light into my house as they back out and making my dog crazy because there are strange people 5 feet from my bedroom windows. Sad part is I found out he's lying and told them it was ok  I've asked for things to change nice 3 times , and sure they won't park there when he gets back they go to bed at 9:00pm and have 2 dogs .  I'm besides myself of what to do.

I have one on the left side of me and one on the far end of me, they moved here from Florida, I dont really say anything to them, just wave or blow the horn. Mostly keep to ourselves.

I am cordial with my neighbor, but I'm not at the point where we are doing things together. I don't want neighbors to ask me for things.

We are on rent and we met pretty much everyone around us.... some are really friendly, some are weird and barely look at you...
we try to be nice and cordial to everyone, but then... I don't have to be your friend if you don't want me to.
If you are nice to me, I will be super nice to you... if you ignore me... that's fine too.... but don't come to me the day you need something!!! )))))))))))

I get along really well with my neighbors to the left of me. The others I don't talk to.

Oh no, that sounds horrible.  Maybe you can speak with the owner of the business?  Ask them to remind their employees to be mindful of the residences at night time.

With my neighbors, I usually mind my own business. We greet each other “good morning.” If you can afford to move to a quieter place, then maybe it’s a better option than to file a complaint as the last resort with the police if strangers are in your private property. Perhaps you can talk to the owner of the business to arrange for their employees to park elsewhere?

Moving isn't a possibility and the property is his where they are parked but butted up to mine, they never park where the people are parking unless they have a party and friends park there.  They all go to bed as i do around 10:00pm so its over early. As for the business owner he built a business that no one every believed would explode as it has and he's got a huge parking problem so he's pushing it with everyone in the neighborhood. I did tell them if they keep slamming doors at midnight I was calling the cops, I have my fingers crossed as it was a peace full night. It's one of them Micro Brewery deals that the worlds on fire to drink  70,000 types of beer.  I really feel bad about my neighbor lying and saying he didn't know,  when he in fact said it was ok.  Sucks that people have to lie! I really had allot of respect for these people and It;s now gone!!

Been here and no problems. They mostly keep to themselves. Actually we live right between a family. So the kids are constantly going back and forth.

i dont see my neighbors that often but whne i do they are very friendly.

I only get along with a few the others I'm pretty sure they are stealing stuff from outside my house and crash my car once and did not admit it.

I would consult the police department; midnight noise is a public disturbance.  But, I see how this can make things more strained within the neighborhood.  You can't let people run you over though, something needs to be done.  Maybe you can come together with the other neighbors?

We get along pretty good, mostly wave in passing but sometimes we speak for a minute or two.  I hope my next neighbors are as friendly as the ones I have now when I upgrade my home in 3 months.

I feel really bad for you, I can't figure out why he would lie, that would really hurt and get me mad too.  Hopefully when they return things will be ok, lets see how he likes the noise when they return.  Until then I guess you have two choices ignore it or call the police.  Good luck!

I keep to myself when it comes to my neighbors.  I like my privacy.  I'm friendly. They are friendly.  It seems not being to chummy with em'.  I've been chummy in the past with people and they think they can come over anytime.. or they expect me to do stuff to help them out all the time.  And then it just becomes to much.
