I love a Boston Fern..Tried to have some on my front porch,but we get the hot afternoon sun and it didn't work out..Moved a couple of them to the side of the house..Not so much direct sun..Hope this works..They are so pretty..

They're beautiful but the hardest ones to keep alive that I ever tried. I don't even try anymore.  :(

I get to see wild ferns in the state park where I hike. They're everywhere in a hollow that hardly anyone uses. Maybe they like to be alone.

I'm with you, I love them but have never had any luck with them.  I believe they like humidity and shade.  Would love to have some on my porch but I have full sun there all day.

I LOVE ferns but they're some of the hardest to keep alive, I'd love to fill my house with them if only they would survive. I worked at a nursery with a greenhouse and we even had trouble keeping them happy there. They need more humidity than the average home environment is going to have.

Good luck! I love plants but have never managed to get any of them to live. I've even managed to kill a few cactii
