I haven't caught up recently with comic books, but definitely Wolverine was my favorite. His no nonsense attitude was inspiring to me. Forget the lasers. I need the macho man. He stood up to people far more powerful than him.

I stopped reading comic books when I was about 12.  Such as Archie and Veronica.  Surprised I remembered any of them.
