Resume

When was the last time that you had to write a resume? I wrote my last one
in 2009 or 2010 when I had to start all over because I lost a job I had for
9 years.

About two years ago I updated mine when I applied for a job.  Didn't get it.  I might apply again the end of the year.

I always update my resume when I have a new job or skill to add. I like to keep it accurate just in case I need to seriously look for a job then I don't have to worry about taking time out of my day and figuring it out.

I only write resumes when I need one, but I know it is good to keep it up to date even if you have a job because you never know. I there is a person I spoke to who said they always apply for jobs and go on interviews even though they have a job, just to see what is out there.

I update mine every couple years even though I've been in the same industry and workplace for the past 10+ years. I'm sure there are other better styles, but the format of mine hasn't changed for over 15 years I think by now.

I just got mine updated.  I have a good template for a cover letter but I cannot do that until I have a specific job to apply for.

It's been quite some time since I wrote a resume'.  The company I worked for promoted from within, so it wasn't a big problem to move up to another position where our finances increased accordingly.

I wrote mines back in high school so around 2007 and after that I've been updating it from time to time depending on what I have been doing.

I keep my current as others do but haven't needed it in 35 years and I hope that it stays that way

I wrote one for the first time the same as you.  2009 or 2010.  I've done what I would advise everyone to do.  Constantly update it even when you 'don't need it'.

I like to keep my resume on my computer and one on paper, really not a very good memory on details of my own past. One day my resume will land me a very very easy job  ::)
