Average work week?
« on: July 22, 2017, 05:03:23 pm »
At my job, my company expects me to work between 250 and 300 hours overtime each year.  I've already surpassed the 300 hour mark and am no where near being done working over time.

I am just curious, what is your average weekly hours worked per week?  And do what kind of benefits do you get?

I'm not in the work place, so it doesn't apply to me.

I work 10-15 hours of overtime a week. That is between 500-700 hours per year. It seems like a lot when you put it like that.

I'm retired. My average work week is zero.Fusion Cash and the other survey and GPT sites I'm on is the closest thing I do to work anymore.I consider these sites more of a hobby than a job or business.

I typically am scheduled for 40 hours per week.  Our company tries to limit the amount of overtime hours, which is a smart move on their part.  However, just due to the nature of the job, overtime often happens.

I like the extra pay I get when I do work overtime.

I have to say that working with kids 11-14 hours a day is equivalent to a 20 hour a day, so I can't complain much.  I have two little boys and I am only with them for a few hours a day and they wear me out.

I generally work 5 - 10 hours overtime each week.  I can work as much as I want.
Have a wonderful day!

I work the bare minimum at 40 hours a week. Give or take because I tend to eat lunch at my desk.

My average work week is about 52 hours a week but I don't get overtime pay because the office help is all salaried.  Do a lot of work on the weekend too.  Not much work life balance that the company is promoting but if we don't work then they complain because things are not completed.  Can't win

I've owned a small business for many years, I stopped counting hours long ago. Although my wife will occasionally let me know when it's getting out of hand.
