unverified?
« on: July 24, 2017, 11:02:14 pm »
I have had a Paypal account for many years and I keep getting this message on my account here saying that Paypal says my account is unverified?? "We're sorry, but PayPal indicated that your account is Unverified. Please link a bank account to your PayPal account in order to Verify it. Once Verified, you will be able to choose that payment method." It also was stating that my e-mail address was not getting your messages. I got several in my inbox but I changed it to another e-mail and it said the same thing. I decided to change it back to my original and now it just will not let me do anything. So I am not sure what I am suppose to do now.

Yes you need to verify your Paypal account in order to get paid from this site. You can verify your account by completing two out of three steps: linking and confirming your bank account, verifying your credit or debit card information and/or providing your social security number.

If you don't want to do that you can do direct deposit or check

My Paypal has been verified for years with my bank. So, I do not understand why this is happening.

Is all the information matching? Exact name and email?

When you go to Paypal, does it say your account is verified? Switching around your email account may have something to do with it also. You could try sending a help ticket to FC and maybe they can tell you more about the problem. Good luck! I know it can be very frustrating to figure it out, but once you get it done, it will work great!  8)

My PayPal is verified by linking my bank account.   If you don't want to do that you can get Direct Deposit or a snail mail check.  I'm glad these options are available on FC.   I do PayPal but might start doing Direct Deposit.

Well, I would contact FC support since THEY are the ones who can help you.  And you need to VERIFY your PayPal account.  Like it said - link it to your bank account.  Totally safe.  I have and so have millions of others had this for many many years and never had an issue.  Not sure about the email because there is no way for FC to know if their email goes to your inbox or to your spam folder.  Unless their emails are being returned to FC.  And I am not even sure that could happen unless you have them blocked some how.
