2 weeks in a row
« on: October 02, 2017, 08:36:35 am »
last Saturday the kids lost their grandpa to complications on an amupatation gone wrong. and yesterday I attended a memorial service for my best friend's mom who was like a 2nd mom to me and my husband. my biggest concern is for my bestfriends brother.  he is my age and the only one left in his family. my bestfriend his sister died last june, his father last october and his mom last friday.  It's very hard for me showing emotions but it tore me up seeing my best friends picture with her parents and all of them gone now.

It is nothing wrong to show your feelings, sometimes it's better than keeping inside of you.Talk to people around you.

I know I had two bestfriends we went out to lunch together. I am only 42 years old.  my friend Patsy I had just talked to her she had called me to re schedule our  lunch for the next day. not within an hour our friend michelle called to say patsy died. she went to take a nap and never woke up. then of course last june she passed away. I am the last one standing. being so close in age with them both seeing that is really tough

I lost my ex-husband (we were still somewhat friendly), my brother-in-law, and my sister within a couple years.  Then my 16 year relationship failed! Lastly, I had to re-home my young puppy when I found the little guy was too much for me suffering from grief and depression and alone.  Luckily, I somewhat know the people I gave my puppy to and have already visited him twice.  My little guy is happy and in a good place. I still mourn him at times! I guess loss is a fact of life, but I hate it!  Being almost 69, I sometimes feel like I'm living on borrowed time when I hear the ages of some people who have died or are living with serious, chronic health conditions.

You have confused me.  Your best friend's brother.  Then you say he has no one left.  That statement would imply he has a sibling.  I assume the person you are talking about is not married.  That would be really hard.
