Quote from: patti4me on December 17, 2017, 03:33:34 pmWe lowered the bar when Bill Clinton was elected President (twice!) after the information came out about his sexual escapades. Unbelievable! The highest office and honor in the USA should not have belonged to someone with his morals. So, if the President can practice that type of behavior why would anyone else think it was wrong for them to do the same?I'm sorry, but twenty years later and I still don't understand why everyone was so upset about that. I get that he cheated on his wife, but it was with another consenting adult. Presidents have lives outside of the presidency. As long as it didn't have anything to do with giving away state secrets I don't care (and have never cared) that he got some action underneath the desk of the oval office. He wasn't bragging about it, Monica was willing. Really, the only people whose business it was would be the three people involved.
