Say, OldBuddy, do you remember where you heard it or read it?  It's always interesting when certain quotes come along, because at times, they are so insightful and make you think a little.  Some people with a lot of money give a great deal away or sometimes you see people doing the most inane things.  Of course, if they earned it, they can do what they want.

I like that quote, very amusing. Though problematic. There are generous wealthy people as well as those who misuse it. However, I have to say, the poor seem to be a lot more generous overall, in my experience. I guess though you learn to make to make connections with people more when that is your life line and you understand too what it's like to have little first hand.

As I remember, the author was not attributed. I just liked it because there are so many different slants it could take.
