Summer is over

Well, labor day is over and football season starts thursday. I know fall is officially in a few weeks and I know it is still extremely hot out in some areas, It still a great time when a football game is on and the food is plenty wings, nachos and the drink of your choice

I know you mentioned it, but try telling the people where I live that Summer is over.  I've been sweating my brains out every day.  I'm not complaining though.  I like it, and I hate that cold stuff.

It’s in the middle 90’s and very humid.  I think Mother Nature is a little mixed up.

A huge, and welcome, hello to the end of the summer! No more ninety degree weather! Ninety degree weather is my melting point in the west (Colorado). I moved here to get away from the awful humidity in Wisconsin and Florida and have not regretted my decision for over twenty five years since the move. I'll get back to Illinois and Wisconsin every other summer and am instantly reminded of why I left. This time of year is great because it is still dark when I get to work. I like to watch the sun rise from my office window. I had my first bowl of chili, yesterday, which is a sure sign that Autumn is here. Kids left for school yesterday and I won't see my son till Thanksgiving. My daughter will be driving home (hour drive) every Tuesday to do an engineering internship.

Whether it is still hot or cooling down, football definiely changes the seasons.

I am tired of this HUMIDITY and hot temps.... if it could be 70's, then I would be okay with it. I am looking forward to the fall; time of change and the beautiful colors that come with it!

Here in Florida, it is just plain ole HOT.  No sign of fall, except all the pumpkin spice crap. (sorry, not a fan)

I love all the seasons for one reason or another but am a little wary of fall because here in NJ we tend to get superstorms and hurricanes in the fall. I enjoy running for exercise more in the fall though because it isn't hot and humid any more and I love to go apple picking too.
