Do you like to open your window during the winter month to air out the house?

I love fresh and I love to do this especially when I clean the house. Some neighbors think that I am crazy for doing this.. But I do not keep the window open for a long time.

Yes. I love to open the window(s) during the winter months to air out the house. I also love keeping the windows open to cool down whatever room I am in. I always tend to sit on the warmer side because I am a larger (six feet, two hundred and ten pounds). Smaller people (which pretty much describes my family) tend to get cold quicker and are not as tolerant to cold temperatures. The air smells cleaner/fresher to me when it is really cold out. I probably imagine tis with the thought that less people are outside causing pollution. I live in Colorado and drove with the top off of my jeep year round. There were a few days where I had to bundle up a bit. People would either give me the thumbs up or shake their heads when driving by me in cold or rainy weather.

No I do not open windows during the winter months.  It is too cold here!
It is currently 26 degrees.  It gets much colder and when the wind blows the wind chill drives even colder.

i open the window in the dogs room during the day to air it out it gets so stuffy in there but not other parts of the house

Sometimes I open my window to get some air in since it sometimes gets stuffy in my bedroom. I usually just open it a crack if it is really cold out.

Yes, but I live in Florida and it was in the 80's today. I opened every window this morning. But had to close them and turn the AC on.

     I do not think you are crazy for opening your windows to let fresh air come in.
     I love fresh air too!

That is something I Have never done- who cares if the neighbors think you're crazy! If it works, keep doing it!

I also love to do this while cleaning, particularly the bathrooms. I can only do it when my hubby isn't home because he has a fit over the waste of heat while the gas burner is on, but I get to do it once or twice ever winter. I also hang out my laundry to dry in the winter when it's sunny out. Just gives a nice smell and feel to everything.

Yes - I would love to open and air out the house occasionally.  It all depends on whether you are home and available to keep an eye on what comes in

I'd like to, but it's too cold to do that right now. I'll wait for summer time to air things out, especially my cat room.

Once in a while I will open up the house for a shrt time when hubby is at work just to air it out. Now in the summer our bedroom window is open every night except when it is raining and I have a fan going. Love the cool dessert night air.  would rather  have it then  the Ac.  Will also open all of the windows in the mornings  in the summer months. By noon it is getting too hot I will have to turn on the Ac.t
