I have no idea who this is.  But 99% of the time the big news stories that every one gets all upset and excited over once you get all the details you find that the orig info was incorrect. And major details were left out.

Very sad what people will do for attention.  It's just beyond my comprehension... I wouldn't even consider doing that.

It's crazy that people perpetuate Hate crimes, or any crimes, to portray themselves as a victim.  All the race baiting & everyone is a victim mentality needs to stop.  It's pretty coincidental that he is friends with two of the legislators that just so happened to had a lynching bill trying to go through congress at the very same time. 

You can't believe anything anymore, it always is turning out to be some elaborate hoax.

He is going to be charged with Federal crimes as well since he sent the threatening letter through the mail... so dumb, had everything going for him -- I feel sorry for him being that dumb.  Such a pointless waste of life.

Not too famous. I had never heard of him.  I have heard something about this case this morning. And then remembered I saw his name on here.  Anybody who does ANYTHING to get viral attention and then it is found you lied needs to go to jail.  Including the wait staff people who write derogatory messages to themselves and say a customer done it.  I think a lot of times they do that because they don't get a tip.  Well maybe there is a reason you didn't get a tip.  It isn't always because the customer is cheap. Sometimes it is because you sUUUUck at your job.
